A teaser trailer for “The Marvels,” one of the most anticipated movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has been released, promising an exciting blend of action and comedy. The trailer features three female superheroes: Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Captain Rambeau. Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris reprise their roles in the movie, which is set to hit theaters on November 10. iuk77tjvfme -site:youtube.com
The teaser opens with Monica Rambeau being transported to another dimension, while Kamala Khan travels through space to meet Nick Fury. Captain Marvel appears to be stuck in Khan’s home, surrounded by cut-outs of herself. The trio of heroes later joins forces to fight aliens and mortal enemies, assisted by Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. South Korean star Park Seo-joon also makes a brief appearance.
“The Marvels” is the third movie in MCU’s Phase Five and takes place immediately after the post-credits scene in the first season finale of the Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel.” The scene showed Kamala swapping places with Carol Danvers.
The trailer confirms that every time one of the Marvels uses her abilities, someone switches places. For example, Kamala switches places with S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau, who is Danvers’ estranged niece and is working with Nick Fury in space.
In addition to the body-switching dilemma, the three superheroes must team up to stop a new intergalactic threat, the Kree Empire.
The footage in the teaser trailer was first shown at the 2022 D23 Expo. Marvel Studios has since postponed the theatrical release of “The Marvels” from July 28 to November. The movie will be available on Disney+ later in the year, most likely in late December, about 45 days after its theatrical release.
